The state of Pennsylvania uses the term “personal representative” as a catch all term to describe both administrators and executors. For the purposes of surety, there is still a need to distinguish between the two. Administrators are those appointed fiduciary by the court when there is no will or the will is in dispute. An executor is a fiduciary appointed by the will and approved by the court. So, if there is a will that isn’t being disputed, please select an executor bond below, otherwise, select the appropriate administrator bond.
